The Li-hua Ying Fund for Asian Studies has been established at Bard for students and faculty who are either pursuing an Asian Studies concentration, studying in Asia, or conducting research in the field. It is our hope that this fund will enable many future Bardians to study and experience the field with the same joy and passion that Li-hua exhibited throughout her life. This fund is initiated and supported by Li-hua's surviving family, her husband Charles Chao, and her son Kyle Chao. For more information on Li-hua's career and contributions to Bard, President Botstein's memorandum can be found here.
If you would like to contribute via check, please write "Li-Hua Ying Fund for Asian Studies" on the memo line and send to:
Office of Development and Alumni/ae Affairs Bard College Attn: Gift Recorder, PO Box 5000 Annandale-on-Hudson, NY 12504-5000
You may also give a gift of stocks or a qualified charitable distribution from an IRA.
